Specific Vacancies
Sports editor
We are looking for a dedicated individual to run our Scotzine Sports website. The site is dedicated to sport outwith football, such as Rugby, Golf, Tennis, Formula One etc.
The successful candidate will not only write for the website, but will also be tasked with building up a team of writers to produce top quality articles for the site. The successful candidate will of course be a dedicated Sports lover and have relevant experience also.
There is no wage as such with the role, however the Editor will secure a significant percentage of commission brought into the site through advertising revenue.

Match reporters
Looking for contributors to attend games each week providing Scotzine with match reports and interviewing players & managers post-match.
We specifically need match reporters for the Scottish Football League, the Highland Football League, Juniors and the Womens game.
Dedicated League Correspondents
We are looking for writers to tackle specific leagues on a regular basis. From Match Reports to Previews to Club News and Transfer rumours we want you. We need more writers for the following Leagues:
- Scottish Premier League
- Scottish Football League – First/Second/Third Division
- English Premier League
- English Championship
- La Liga
- Serie A
- Bundesliga
Dedicated Club/National Correspondents
Given the amount of focus on the Old Firm and the Scotland National team, we are looking for dedicated writers for both Rangers and Celtic as well as the Scotland National side. You will provide articles related specifically to Rangers/Celtic and Scotland for both the website and the Fanzine.
Feature Writers
Scotzine Feature writers are those who will tackle any subject within Football with no ties to any specific league. But are opinionated and have something to say.
All Writers will be required to contribute at least ONE article to our Monthly Fanzine. On their specific subjects.
Photographers
At present we have three dedicated match photographer. Because of the number of games that are on a weekly basis, they cannot cover them all, so we are looking for Photographers who are looking to build up their portfolio by covering games up and down the country.
The position is voluntary only, however we can provide access to football grounds across the country for you to build your portfolio with and to provide Scotzine.com with Match Photos. The images would stay copyrighted to yourself, however Scotzine can use said images for any aspect of our website.
We do not provide the necessary equipment needed to do this role, so you must have the appropriate professional equipment. Along with your email you must tell us the type of equipment you have, so that we can verify that it’s not run of the mill digital cameras that we take out on a night out.
ScotzineTV
ScotzineTV as it sounds is our very own TV Channel. We are looking for Video crews along with two individuals to present/interview for our Channel online. This is a voluntary position, and may be best suited to Students or those just Graduated [interested in Football] looking to gain valuable experience for their CV & Portfolio.
This role would involve interviewing Players, Managers & Fans as well as producing highlights of games we attend, and a Vidcast show we are planning also.
The Video crew will need to have the relevant video equipment and software at their disposal – we cannot provide this currently.

Scotzine TV was launched officially on the 13th November when we covered the Henson Projects Women’s Scottish Cup Final, and shot the Last 16 Women’s Champions League tie between Glasgow City and Potsdam.

- For Presenters/Interviewers positions we will need not only a CV but also some headshots as well as ‘on screen tests’ but the tests will be arranged at a later date.

You can write about absolutely anything football related that interests you, as long as the quality of writing is good. From Scottish Football to English, Spanish, Italian and German. Even the French Leagues or possibly a bit further afield such as the MLS, A-League, J-League or African Football we want you to cover it. From match reports and previews to historical pieces, legends profiles and news pieces.

Rules & Guidelines
Unfortunately, there are always rules.
- The rules are in place to ensure that the quality of posts and integrity of the site remains high.
- The post/article should not be reproduced anywhere else on the web including your own blog, if using quotes or material from another site please quote the relevant article and where you read it.
- Any images used in the post cannot mess up the design of the site. As a guideline, the max width of any picture you post should not exceed 402 pixels and not be more than 210 pixels in height.
- It is ok to link to your own blog if it is relevant to do so. However, you should not write articles around topics to justify a link to your blog and you should not actively encourage visitors to visit your blog. Remember, you get a link to your blog at the bottom of your posts and the links are clearly marked so that your site gets exposure.
- No affiliate codes or referral links are allowed in posts, without prior consent.
