Hibernian today await the draw of the 5th round of the Scottish Cup after overcoming Cowdenbeath 3-2 at the weekend. Following a goal after just 19 seconds from Greig Stewart, Hibs responded with goals from Griffiths, Doyle and Wotherspoon before Jon Robertson made sure of a nervy finish for the SPL side as they desperately held on to the victory.

Both Edinburgh teams have tried to stake a claim as the third force in Scottish football, however recently neither is covering themselves in glory.Hearts overspending has finally caught up with them. There are plenty of youth players available at Tynecastle and they are being wrongly overlooked. Players which have helped the under-19 team rise to the top of the league
