Hearts secured their eighth Scottish Cup victory this afternoon after demolishing ten-man Hibernian 5-1 at Hampden Park. Goals from Darren Barr, Danny Grainger, Ryan McGowan and a double from Rudi Skacel secured silverware for the Tynecastle side, despite James McPake scoring for the Hibees before half time. Last weekend Celtic secured their first championship title in four years at Rugby Park with a 6-0 demolition of the side that beat Celtic in the League Cup Final just a few weeks earlier. Today saw Celtic face Hearts for a place in the Scottish Cup Final, with Hibernian waiting in the wings
