Today sees David Moyes’ 10th Anniversary as Everton manager. Few could have believed that when David Moyes walked through the doors of Goodison Park to become the Everton manager, taking over from the man who had just been sacked, Walter Smith, that he would still be in charge on the Toffees ten years later. Such is the fantastic job that

The sky is falling, Manchester United lost 6-1 to their city rivals, and the world is wondering is this the power shift to the Blue side of Manchester? Just another soap opera in a city that houses Coronation Street, not that we can hold that against the city. The football world has been used to other teams coming into the

Another Premier League weekend is upon us and if it brings just as many twist and turns as last weekend we are in for another cracker. The weekend starts with a bang when Man City host Everton after dropping their first points of the season last weekend. Man City’s manager will be looking for a big response from his players

With the Premier League hotting up the fifth set of fixtures may again bring us the twist and turns we have learnt to expect from the League which intrigues so many. Arsenal kick off the weekends action away with a lunch time kick off on Saturday at Blackburn as they look to build on the confidence after a solid win

It might not be the most mouth-watering Super Sunday match that Sky Sports have ever picked but Fulham v Blackburn on Sunday afternoon could be a cracker or a scoreless bore. Both sides are winless, both in the bottom five, both in early season difficulties and both managers under pressure already. It promises to be a very interesting game indeed.

Sunderland welcome a new look Chelsea side to the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon, as they look for their first win of the season. Steve Bruce’s men lie in 13th spot after a poor start to the season, despite bringing in as many as ten new faces during the summer transfer window. The pressure is certainly on Steve Bruce

After another unusually timed International break the Premiership returns this weekend with another list of subplots which only the Premier league can provide. With no lunch time kick offs on Saturday our first Premiership action is the six 3 o’clock fixtures. One of the most anticipated of these is Arsenal v Swansea at The Emirates after their shambolic display against

After an action packed but not particularly surprising set of result in the second week of the Premier League what will this weekend’s round of fixtures bring? After two wins in two Wolves open the weekend with a trip to West Midlands rivals Aston Villa. The home side have had a good start as well with a win last weekend

Charlie Scott takes a look at the major talking points from this weekend’s English Premier League games. 1. Wenger has money. He needs to spend that money on a centre-back. Enough said. 2. Mancini loosens the leash on his armoury of attacking talents. David Silva was superb as City won 3-2 against Bolton on Saturday, and his performance acted as

After an average set of fixtures gave us many talking points last weekend, this weekend’s fixtures has some crackers lined up. A north-east derby and four of the top six sides play each other to bring the Premier League well and truly back. The first derby of the season kicks off the weekend’s action with a Tyneside derby which are
