HOLDERS Rangers and champions Celtic have both been drawn at home in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
Michael Beale’s Ibrox side, who overcame St Johnstone 1-0 in Perth at the weekend, will face Championship outfit Partick Thistle who knocked out Dunfermline on penalty-kicks.
Coincidentally, Ange Postecoglou’s Hoops, who hammered Morton 5-0, will play St Mirren at Parkhead and the Paisley side also had to rely on spot-kicks to see off Dundee.
Goalkeeper Trevor Carson was their hero with THREE super saves to win his team a place against the champions in the east end of Glasgow.
Intriguingly, the tie at Parkhead is one only two all-Premiership clashes with Dundee United taking on Kilmarnock at Tannadice on the same weekend.
Hearts, 3-0 victors over city rivals Hibs at Easter Road earlier today, have been drawn away again and will face Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park.
The full draw is:
Linlithgow Rose or Raith Rovers v Motherwell
Livingston v Inverness Caley Thistle or Queen’s Park
Dundee United v Kilmarnock
Hamilton Accies v Hearts
Celtic v St Mirren
Cove Rangers or Ayr United v Elgin City or Drumchapel United
Darvel or Aberdeen v Falkirk
Rangers v Partick Thistle
Ties are due on the weekend of February 11/12.
The Scottish Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday June 3.
