THE Scottish Cup semi-final dates for the double derby weekend at Hampden next month have been confirmed.

The all-Edinburgh clash between Hearts and Hibs will go ahead on Saturday April 16 with a 12.15pm kick-off and will be shown on Premier Sports satellite channel and BBC One Scotland.

The following day, will see Celtic meet Rangers at the national stadium with a 2pm commencement and the action will be beamed exclusively by Premier Sports.

The Glasgow giants coasted into the last four of the competition following two 3-0 wins on Tayside.

Goals from Connor Goldson, James Tavernier (pen) and Fashion Sakala saw Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s club ease past Dundee at Dens Park on Sunday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou’s men staged an action replay on Monday night at Tannadice s they overwhelmed Dundee United with strikes from Callum McGregor and Giorgos Giakoumakis (2).

The Scottish Cup Final is scheduled for Hampden on Saturday afternoon May 21.
