CELTIC and Rangers have been warned exciting young striker Kyle Joseph will be NOT be allowed to leave Wigan on the cheap during this transfer window.

The 19-year-old attackers has been scouted by both Glasgow giants this season who have been impressed by his exploits in League One.

The Latics are still in administration and the futures of some of their top talents, including Joseph, are unsettled after a proposed takeover bid collapsed last week.

His contract expires in the summer and is free to talk to clubs as Wigan could look to cash in on their asset to avoid losing him for nothing at the end of the season. They value the hitkid at £1million, according to a report in The Athletic.

Jose Mourinho’s Spurs and Sheffield United have also been monitoring Joseph in recent months or the youngster.

Sean McGurk, 17, the club’s attacking midfielder is also on the wishlist of the Parkhead outfit – although he has yet to play a first team game. He has caught the attention of the Hoops while performer for the Under-18s, where he has proved a prolific goalscorer.

Leeds United have been looking at the player and reports allege they have already had a bid rejected.
