LEEDS UNITED are lining up another move for Rangers winger Ryan Kent – if they don’t land priority target Daniel James from Manchester United.

Elland Road boss Marcelo Bielsa is determined to add a speedy flanker to his newly-promoted squad before Monday’s transfer deadline.

The Old Trafford side have been involved in a summer-long protracted move for Borussia Dortmund’s England international Jadon Sancho.

If Ole Gunnar Solkskjaer can push that deal over the line, he will release Welsh ace James.

If not, the Yorkshire oufit will be forced to look elsewhere and that will lead Bielsa back on the trail of former Liverpool raider Kent, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

The 23-year-old forward, who cost £7million when he arrived from the Anfield giants last summer, continued his fine start with his fifth goal of the season during the 4-0 win over Willem II in the Europa League qualifier last week.

Leeds had an original offer – believed to be around the £10million mark – rejected by the Ibrox outfit, but they may return with another in the £14million region.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard has continually insisted he has no intention of allowing one of his key players to leave in a campaign where he hopes to derail Celtic’s bid for a historic tenth successive title.
