FLORIAN KAMBERI will miss out on his dream move to Rangers – and it looks as though he has kicked his last ball for Hibs.

The Swiss striker still has two years to run on his Easter Road contract, but, according to a report in the Scottish Sun, he is wanted by clubs in five different countries.

Kamberi, who was taken to the Edinburgh outfit by Neil Lennon from Grasshoppers in 2018. joined Steven Gerrard’s men on loan in January and incensed fans of the Leith club by going public about his wishes to make the move permanent.

The Ibrox gaffer, though, is prioritising other attacking options, including Livingston’s Australian frontman Lyndon Dykes.

Twenty-five-year-old Kamberi is now heading for the Hibs exit and has interested clubs from England, Poland, Turkey, Cyprus and Germany.

Jack Ross’ squad are due to report back for pre-season training a week on Monday and the stylish Swiss attacker hopes to have his future sorted out by then.

Gerrard’s only movement on the transfer front has been to bring in Ianis Hagi in a £3million three-year deal from Belgian side Genk.
