SCOTT SINCLAIR’S Celtic mystery has deepened with his no-show in Neil Lennon’s provisional squad for tonight’s Europa League Group E encounter against Lazio at Parkhead.

The 30-year-old winger’s name was missing from the 20-player pool for the clash against the Italian cracks, according to the Daily Record.

Sinclair, who is out of contract in the summer, was nowhere to be seen, either, for the Premiership match against Ross County at the weekend where Ukrainian Marian Shved was given a late appearance in the 6-0 rout of the Highlanders.

The former Chelsea, Swansea and Manchester City forward, who cost £4.5million from Aston Villa in August 2016, has barely figured this season.

Lennon handed him 11 minutes off the substitutes’ bench in the second Premiership outing of the season in the 5-2 win over Motherwell  at Fir Park and six minutes in their 1-1 draw with Hibs at Easter Road.

He made a scoring subs’ appearance in the 5-0 Betfred Lague Cup quarter-final victory over Partick Thistle on September 25, but he has dropped off the radar again.

However, 11-goal Ryan Christie stands by for a return after missing out on the win over Ross County as he started his two-match ban following his red card against Livingston.

Olivier Ntcham will not be joining him, with Lennon confirming the Frenchman hasn’t overcome an ankle injury. Leigh Griffiths and Daniel Arzani are also ruled out.

SQUAD: Forster, Gordon, Bauer, Elhamed, Ajer, Jullien, Bolingoli, Taylor, Rogic, Bitton, Brown, Christie, McGregor, Forrest, Edouard, Hayes, Morgan, Bayo, Johnston, Elyounoussi.
