NEIL LENNON has promised the Romanians of Cluj they will see a different Celtic in the Europa League Group E encounter at Parkhead this evening.

Dan Petrescu’s side knocked out the Hoops from the Champions League in August in a massive setback for the Scottish title kings.

Mikey Johnston and Nir Bitton, who have missed recent games through injury, have returned to training, but this game may have come too quickly for them both.

The same goes for Aussie international playmaker Tom Rogic who is having problems with fluid around the knee.

Ivorian powerhouse frontman Vakoun Issouf Bayo is suspended after being sent off against Rennes in the 1-1 draw in the section opener a fortnight ago when Ryan Christie scored his side’s leveller from the penalty spot.

With Leigh Griffiths struggling, Odsonne Edouard is Lennon’s only choice to lead the attack.

* THIS will be the third meeting between Celtic and Cluj this season, having already met in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League. It was a 1-1 draw in Romania and a 4-3 triumph for the visitors in Glasgow.

* CELTIC led 2-1 and 3-2 against Cluj at Parkhead before they conceded vital equalisers and George Tucadean got his team’s fourth goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

* CELTIC have won just three of their last 16 home European matches – excluding qualifiers –  losing each of their last two against Red Bull Salzburg and Valencia in the Europa League last season.

* FOLLOWING their 2-1 victory over Lazio two weeks ago, the Romanians are looking to win consecutive games in major European competition for only the second time. They also won back-to-back games in December 2012 in the Champions League, beating Braga and Manchester United.
