CELTIC were drawn against FK Sarajevo in the first Champions League qualifying round in the ballot in Nyon, Switzerland, this afternoon.

Neil Lennon’s side will go up against the Bosnian league and Cup winners as they bid to make the group stages for the third time in four years.

The Hoops, who were eliminated from Europe last season on a 3-0 aggregate after losing home and away against Valencia, are due to play the first game at Parkhead on July 9 or 10 with return a week later.

RANGERS will face either Kosovan side Prishtina or Gibraltar’s St Joseph’s in the first round of Europa League qualifying.

Steven Gerrard’s side will have to wait for the preliminary tie to be decided to learn their destination for their first leg away from home on July 11.

The Gers came through three qualifying rounds and a play-off last term to reach the Europa League group stage.

KILMARNOCK have been drawn against Connah’s Quay Nomads with new manager Angelo Alessio’s side travelling to Wales for the first leg.

ABERDEEN will face Finland’s RoPS Rovaniemi with the first leg to played at Pittodrie.

The Dons have been in the qualifying rounds in each of the past five seasons, but have yet to reach the group stage of the competition.

All the first leg ties will be played on July 11 with the return fixtures scheduled for a week later on July 18.
