CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers is on the verge of receiving a TRIPLE boost as he prepares for the Europa League last-32 clash with Valencia on Thursday night.

Kieran Tierney, who has been out for two months, is battling to be fit to face the Spanish cracks at Parkhead and Oliver Burke and Oliver Ntcham are both likely to be ready for the crucial confrontation.

The Scotland left-back, who has been sidelined with a persistent hip injury, is desperate to make his comeback and gaffer Rodgers could give him until tomorrow afternoon to prove his match sharpness.

Tierney, 21, has not suffered any setbacks since returning to light training last week.

The fans’ favourite last featured in the 2-1 reverse from RB Salzburg in Glasgow on December 13.

On-loan striker Burke, who has scored three goals since arriving last month, hirpled off in the 67th minute of the 5-0 Scottish Cup win over St Johnstone on Sunday with an ankle knock.

Midfielder Ntcham complained of a tight hamstring in the pre-match warm-up and had to be removed from the subs’ bench with Mikey Johnston replacing the French ace.

Rodgers is hopeful of being in a position of naming all three in his squad for the first leg match against the Spaniards with the return at the Mestalla the following week.
