HOLDERS Celtic will play St Johnstone for the second time in a Cup competition for the second time this season following this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Fifth Round draw.

Brendan Rodgers’ men take on the Perth outfit at Parkhead next month as they continue their bid for a historic treble treble.

A goal from Leigh Griffiths gave Celtic a 1-0 triumph over the Saints in the Betfred League Cup at McDiarmid Park earlier in the season as they won the trophy for the third successive term.

The Hoops eased into this stage with a solid 3-0 win over League One part-timers Airdrie last night with goals from Scott Sinclair (2) and new Bhoy Timothy Weah.

The clubs will have a dress rehearsal at Parkhead on Saturday when Tommy Wright’s side visit on Premiership business.

Shock side Auchinleck Talbot, who overcame Championship pacesetters Ayr United 1-0, have been rewarded with a tie at Tynecastle against Hearts, who beat Livingston 1-0 earlier today.

Kilmarnock have a home draw against Cowdenbeath or Rangers whose cancelled tie  is now scheduled for a week on Wednesday.
