BRENDAN RODGERS is weighing up a move for Scotland international winger Oliver Burke.

West Brom will allow the 21-year-old flanker to leave in a loan deal with the player rarely featuring this season with only three Championship appearances.

The Midlands outfit splashed £15million for Burke from RB Leipzig last year, but boss Darren Moore is willing to let him go for game time and the Hoops are reported to be among a host of clubs monitoring his situation.

Rodgers has gone on record as stating the champions’ squad needs to be strengthened in the second part of the campaign and two front players are a priority.

Burke, who has won five Scotland caps, is now a possibility as the Parkhead men bid for eight titles in succession.
