FORMER Celtic striker Tony Watt has agreed a deal with St Johnstone, as Scotzine reported yesterday.

The 24-year-old ex-Scotland international had been out of the game since leaving Belgian Second Division outfit OH Leuven in February.

Saints have announced the much-travelled hitman, who was on loan at Hearts two years ago, has signed a one-year contract at McDiarmid Park.

Ronny Deila told him he had no future at theHoops in July 2014 and Watt has played for six different clubs including Standard Liege, Charlton and Crystal Palace.

* RANGERS have signed Angers midfielder Lassana Coulibaly on a year-long loan and hope to agree an identical contract with Roma striker Umar Sadiq. Steven Gerrad is keen to get the business done before tonight’s Europa League deadline.

* FORMER Hearts winger David Milinkovic has signed a three-year deal with Championship side Hull City. The player impressed Craig Levein during his loan spell from Genoa and the Tynecastle boss made a six-figure fee for him, but the move broke down over personal terms.

* ST MIRREN keeper Ross Stewart is poised to agree a two-year switch to Premiership new boys Livingston.

* EX-HAMILTON ACCIES midfielder Ali Crawford is heading for Doncaster Rovers after failing to win a deal at Hearts.
