KENNY MILLER is poised to be announced as Livingston’s new player-boss within the next
few days.

The former Rangers striker has held
extensive talks over the past fortnight with the newly-promoted club’s assistant boss David Martindale.

There are reports Miller, 38, will meet the board on Tuesday to rubber
stamp the deal.

The ex-Scotland international’s ability to perform in both roles has has nudged him ahead of other top candidate Gary Holt for the job vacated by David Hopkin after their promotion to the top flight.

Miller has also been linked with a return to former club Hibs, Aberdeen and Motherwell, but prefers to combine management with playing.

Livi hope to make the announcement by Thursday.
