MOTHERWELL received an injury scare ahead of their Scottish Cup Final against Celtic at Hampden a week tomorrow.

Defender Cedric Kipre joined the growing list of problems for boss Stephen Robinson following the 1-0 midweek win over Partick Thistle.

The French star, sent off twice against the Hoops this season, went down injured after a challenge at Firhill and struggled for the rest of the encounter.

Robinson said: “Cedric has dislocated his thumb. We’ve got a few injuries, so it’s something we have to look at and see what we do for the game on Saturday.

“Richard Tait was sick the evening before the Thistle match and Liam Grimshaw’s knee has swollen up. We don’t have to take risks at this moment.”
