DONS APPEAL LOGAN RED CARD

0

ABERDEEN have appealed against the red card shown to defender Shay Logan against Celtic on Sunday.

The right-back, 30, was sent off after the final whistle in the Dons’ 1-0 win over the champions.

Referee Craig Thomson took immediate action after Logan appeared to raise his hands to Hoops defender Mikael Lustig and then got involved with Dedryck Boyata.

Any suspension for Logan would apply to the Pittodrie side’s first Premiership fixtures next season.
