CRISTIANO RONALDO and his Portuguese team-mates are on their way to Hampden to play Scotland in a friendly on October 14.
Alex McLeish’s side will take on the reigning European champions in the first meeting between the two nations since 2002.
The friendly has been scheduled for the weekend immediately following the Scots’ to Israel in the inaugural UEFA Nations League.
The Tartan Army travel to the Middle East on October 11 as they look to win promotion to League B.
Scotland also have international friendlies planned against Peru, Mexico and Belgium in the coming months as preparation for the start of the Nations League.
