0

BOBBY MADDEN will referee the Scottish Cup semi-final between Celtic and Rangers at Hampden a week on Sunday.

The SFA has confirmed the match official appointments for both last-four confrontations with Kevin Clancy in charge of the Motherwell v Aberdeen match 24 hours earlier.

Madden will be assisted by David McGeachie and Graeme Stewart with Don Robertson and Nick Walsh acting as additional assistants. Steven McLean will be the fourth official.

He refereed last season’s Scottish Cup Final when a stoppage-time goal from Tom Rogic gave the Hoops a 2-1 triumph over Aberdeen to seal their domestic clean sweep.

In the other last-four encounter, Clancy will have Douglas Ross and David Roome running the line in the other tie. Andrew Dallas and Alan Muir will be additional assistants and Greg Aitken will be fourth official.
