HIBS boss Neil Lennon insists powerhouse midfielder John McGinn is worth £5million.
The Easter Road gaffer believes there could be some frantic activity in the summer with a few clubs showing an active interest in the Scotland international.
McGinn produced a five-star display alongside Celtic double-act Stuart Armstrong and Callum McGregor in the 1-0 win over Hungary in Budapest on Tuesday night.
The all-round performance of the 23-year-old dynamo, who now has seven caps, has put him firmly in the transfer spotlight.
Hoops gaffer Brendan Rodgers has already stated he has been impressed by McGinn over the past couple of seasons.
Lennon, who will be without his key man for the next two games against Partick Thistle and Hamilton Accies due to suspension, said: “It is inevitable with the progress John is making that there will be interest in him.
“He has a price. I think in this day and age, £5million would cover it. I value him very highly, as we all do here, and we won’t sell ourselves short if the bids come in for him.
“If I was a manager somewhere else, I would be having a right good look at him.
“I was really pleased with John’s contribution on Tuesday.
“He looked very comfortable in that environment, but that’s testament to how he’s been playing since I walked in the door – and before that.”
