FORMER Rangers striker Steven Naismith is winning his fitness fight to lead the Hearts attack at Ibrox on Saturday.
It will be the Scotland international frontman’s first appearance in Govan since quitting the club almost six years ago.
Naismith has returned to training with Craig Levein’s side after missing the last two games with a hamstring strain.
The 31-year-old ex-Kilmarnock star left the Gers in 2012 during the club’s financial troubles after his refusal to allow his contract to be transferred to the new company.
Naismith, who won three titles during his time at the club, moved to Everton before switching to Norwich City. He agreed a loan deal with the Tynecastle outfit last month.
Now the little raider could form a striking partnership with another ex-Ranger, Kyle Lafferty, against Graeme Murty’s side.
