DELIGHT FOR CELTIC AS TIERNEY SIGNS ON

0

KIERAN TIERNEY has given Celtic a major boost on the eve of their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich by putting pen to paper and agreeing a new 6-year deal.

The 20-year-old has been a revelation for the Parkhead club since being handed his debut by Ronny Deila; however, since the Norwegian was replaced by Brendan Rodgers, Tierney’s stock has rocketed and he’s become a target for top Premier League clubs in England.

Although, Tierney has signified his intention to remain with the 6-in-a-row champions by signing an improved deal taking him to the summer of 2023, at least.

The fans favourite was an integral part of the Invincible Treble winners of last season and his renewed commitment in the club he grew up supporting will be gladly received by Rodgers and the Celtic support.
