IT was a tale of the former Celts as MK Dons beat Plymouth Argyle 1-0.
Aidan Nesbitt, who joined Robbie Neilson’s League One outfit on deadline day, netted the only goal of the game.
Graham Carey, who started his career at Parkhead before his move to St Mirren in 2011, was sent off in the first-half.
And Hoops misfit Nadir Ciftci, on a season-long loan, was out of luck and was substituted as Derek Adams’ side suffered a third successive defeat.
Nesbitt, who agreed a two-year deal at MK Dons, claimed the only goal of the game in the ninth minute. He drove a Callum Brittain cross low into the net off the inside of the post.
Carey, who also played for Ross County, was red-carded in the 33 minute after a challenge on Gboly Ariyibi.
Ciftci was denied in a one-on-one with goalkeeper Lee Nicholls and then he saw a curling free-kick strike the bar.
A delighted Neilson said: “It’s a massive three points for us. The boys gave everything and they kept their heads.”
