AND THE CELTS GO MARCHING ON

0

CELTIC travelled to Dundee making numerous changes to the side that beat Ross County at Celtic Park on Saturday.

Olivier Ntcham was unlucky not to open the scoring, with his drilled effort from twenty-yards being tipped around the post by Bain. After this Dundee went straight up the park and won a corner. Randy Wolters was picked out in the Celtic penalty area with his effort being deflected wide.

After these early oppurtunities the game was very open with chances coming for both sides. Scott Sinclair was the spark for Celtic, after a terrific run he was fouled in the box. Sinclair stepped up and put Celtic one up.

Dundee did not hold back after Celtic took the lead and started to put the boot in a bit, with referee John Beaton being very shy in booking players from the hosts.

Just before the interval the Hoops lead was doubled. Kieran Tierney played a brilliant ball into the box which was tapped in by James Forrest.

Not much can really be said in detail about the second-half. Celtic did not need to exsert themselves in the second-half and calmy passed the ball around.

Celtic stepped up the pace at the end of the game, with Callum McGregor bagging a goal at the end of the game. This was shortly followed by another goal from James Forrest getting his fourth goal in two games.

Tonight was a good test for Celtic going into saturday’s game at Ibrox. Overall, the game tonight for Celtic was perfect. Boyata was given a run out, no injurys were picked up and four goals were scored.
