CELTIC captain Scott Brown has been the victim of a sickening taunt on social media via Instagram that first started on Twitter last night after he led the Scottish Champions to victory over Rosenborg in Champions League Qualifier.
The Celtic captain posted on his Instagram account that one horrible Twitter user sent a graphic making fun of the deaths of Brown’s sister Fiona and Celtic legend Tommy Burns, both of whom died of cancer within two weeks of each other back in 2008.
Brown posted on Instagram: “Just been sent this from my twitter account. Now football banter is all good between fans, but when it gets personal and bringing family members and friends into it who you love and miss everyday is disgusting.”
On the way to the game in Norway Brown and Celtic teammate Leigh Griffiths were abused by a Rangers supporter at Glasgow Airport, with the moron using a reference to child abuse.
