BARRIE MCKAY has left Rangers for Nottingham Forest on a four-year deal.
The winger, who has fallen out of favour under Pedro Caixinha, will reunite with former manager Mark Warburton at the City Ground.
The 22-year-old was omitted from the Rangers squad that were beaten 2-1 on aggregate by FC Progrès Niederkorn.
McKay, who was rated at £6 million by Warburton in January, has joined for an undisclosed fee that is believed to be around £500,000.
Capped once by Scotland, McKay made 35 appearances for Rangers last season and scored five goals.
The EFL Championship club has already taken Jason Cummings from Scotland to Nottingham. Cummings joined for £1 million from Hibernian.
This may not be the last time that Warburton raids Scotland with links to Rangers’ James Tavernier already being rumoured.
