ABERDEEN’S Shay Logan has pledged his future to the Pittodrie club by signing a new deal.
The 29-year-old, who has scored 13 times in 161 appearances for the club, was signed in May 2014 and has become a fans’ favourite.
Speaking to Red TV, the club’s official channel, Logan was thankful to have signed the new three-year deal.
“I am happy to be here, so the new deal was very welcome.”
“The reason I am staying is because of the way I have been treated by the club and the fans. I have been looked after very well.
“I am glad the club and the manager have faith in me and that they want me to stick around.”
Derek McInnes was grateful that Logan had signed the new deal after being a stalwart in his side’s that have finished second.
“It is clear how much he enjoys it here at Pittodrie and how much affection he has for the supporters.
“I am sure the fans would join me in applauding the commitment he has shown.”
