RANGERS striker Martyn Waghorn has admitted this is a make-or-break season for his Ibrox hopes.
The former Wigan frontman saw summer signings Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos make their debuts in the 1-1 draw with Marseille on Saturday.
Pedro Caixinha’s side will face Watford in a closed doors encounter tonight before meeting Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday and Waghorn is determined to make an impact.
He said: “It’s important for everyone, but we have brought in two strikers and brought in competition right throughout the squad.
“Not only for myself, but for other players maybe on the fringes, it’s chance for everyone to impress.
“We have games coming up, and when you get your time, you are going to have to utilise it and try to do as best as you can to force your way into the squad.
“For me, it’s going to be a big season – I want to do as well as I can for this club and I have a lot to prove.
“I feel like it is going to be a successful season for the team and I want to be a part of that.”
