FORMER Rangers star Giovanni van Bronckhorst has snubbed Celtic legend Henrik Larsson in his Dream Team.
And the current boss of Eredivisie league leaders Feyenoord couldn’t find places for his fellow-Dutchmen Artur Numan or Michael Mols.
Van Bronkhorst played alongside Larsson when Barcelona won the 2006 Champions League Final against Arsenal in Paris.
The Swede came on while the London side were a goal ahead and turned it around as the Camp Nou outfit won 2-1 with two goals in the last 14 minutes.
However, it still wasn’t enough for Larsson to get the nod to play in Van Bronckhorst’s Eleven from Heaven.
The Dutch star went with Edwin van Sar in goal while former Barca captain Carles Puyol, Jaap Stam and Ronald Koeman were selected to play alongside Van Brockhorst in a four-man defence.
His former Arsenal team-mate Patrick Vieira got the holding midfielder role with Barca duo Andres Iniesta and Xavi making up the three.
Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and Dennis Bergkamp got the front three positions with the ex-Arsenal hero just shading it in front of Larsson.
Van Bronckhorst explained: “Dennis is a legend, not only for Dutch football, but also as one of the biggest stars who played in the Premier League.
“When I came to Arsenal he really helped me to get settled in London.
“His skills were amazing, and he was the same as Messi and Ronaldinho in that you never knew what Dennis was going to do.”
