FORMER Motherwell defender Louis Laing has joined rock-bottom Inverness Caley Thistle until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Notts County before being released on his return to Fir Park at the start of this month.
Laing joined Well from Nottingham Forest, initially on loan, in January 2015 and made 31 appearances.
He had previously had a temporary spell with County, making 12 appearances.
Richie Foran’s team have endured a difficult season and are three points adrift at the bottom of the Premiership.
The Highlanders, who lost 6-0 to Celtic in the Scottish Cup last weekend, will resume their points-gathering campaign against Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday.
