CELTIC will play the Championship’s rock-bottom side St Mirren in the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Parkhead next month.

The Paisley outfit have already knocked out Premiership opposition in Dundee at Dens Park in the fourth round.

They overcame East Fife 3-2 in a tough away tie yesterday at the same time Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops were hammering Inverness Caley Thistle 6-0 with Moussa Dembele claiming his third hat-trick in a prolific campaign.

Rangers, too, received a home draw when they were paired with either Dunfermline or Hamilton Accies, who drew 1-1 yesterday,

The tie of the round could be at Pittodrie where Aberdeen have been drawn to play Partick Thistle, 1-0 victors over St Johnstone at the weekend.

Cup holders Hibs drew 0-0 with Hearts at Tynecastle today and the winners will face either Ayr United or Clyde who were deadlocked 1-1 at Somerset Park yesterday.

The full draw is:

Celtic v St Mirren

Aberdeen v Partick Thistle

Hearts or Hibs v Ayr United or Clyde

Rangers v Dunfermline or Hamilton Accies

The games are due on the weekend of March 4/5.
