FORMER Hearts boss Robbie Neilson has targeted Dundee keeper Scott Bain as a priority target for struggling English League one side MK Dons.
He was linked with Dundee United’s Cammy Bell, the former Rangers and Kilmarnock shotstopper last week, but has now switched his attention to the highly-rated Dens Park shotstopper.
Paul Hartley, though, will be in no rush to part with the 25-year-old Scotland international squad goalie who is under contract until the end of next season.

And as they battle to retain their place in the Premiership, it would be a major surprise if they were to entertain any bids for one of their key players in mid-season.

One player moving out, though, is Michael Duffy whose season-long loan deal will be cut short with the left-sided attacker returning to Celtic this month.

The Northern Ireland international has only made seven starts since arriving in the summer and has had little game time recently.

Meanwhile, the Tayside outfit will be without skipper Darren O’Dea when the Premiership programme resumes against Aberdeen at the end of the month.

The centre-half has a one-match suspension to serve and that will keep him out of the Friday night visit to Pittodrie.

The former Republic of Ireland international is eligible for the Scottish Cup clash with St Mirren a week earlier.
