HEARTS defender Faycal Rherras has revealed he wants to play in England.
The Moroccan international left-back is a fans’ favourite at Tynecastle and only joined the club last summer from Belgian outfit Sint Truiden.

But Rherras admitted he has ambitions to play in the Premier League and claimed he is already on the radar of several teams across the border.

He said: “I keep England in a corner of my mind. Their league is the one I like the most.

“My dream is to play in the Premier League. I’m 100 per cent focused on my job at Hearts and give my all for them.

“We will see what happens in the future. I know a number of teams have enquired about me, but I will let my agent deal with all that.”

The 23-year-old added: “The Premiership is a mini-Premier League. It is really tough to play in – there is no time to rest, the tempo is incredible and play goes from end to end non-stop.

“The pace of matches in Belgium is slower, you can catch your breath.

“The Scots are incredible. They don’t have the same mindsets as Belgians and there are very few bigots.

“In Belgium, cliques would form in dressing rooms with the Spanish speakers in one corner, English speakers in another and so on.

“But that is not the case at Hearts. We are a united squad.”
