PARTICK THISTLE striker Ade Azeez has claimed just two goals in his 25 appearances for the Firhill outfit since arriving from AFC Wimbledon in the summer.
So, it’s obvious what the Londoner’s New Year Resolution is going to be!
The powerful 22-year-old frontman said: “I’m enjoying it very much. The players, staff and fans have all treated me really well.
“I’ve been playing well without obviously scoring the amount of goals I want. But I feel like I’m getting a chance.
“It’s just about getting the confidence in front of goal to take into 2017 and start banging them in regularly.
“It’s about rewarding the faith of everyone by getting the ball into the back of the net. I’m going to get chances and create chances, I just want it to go back in whether it’s off my knee or my back, I don’t care.
“I know that when one goes in here they will start coming, that’s my resolution for this year!”
Azeez still has 18 months to run on his Jags contract and he added: “That relaxes you. It’s about getting my first season up here, seeing what it’s like and having a look at the opposition.
“Next year, I’ll know more about everything. It’s good to have that security, but I want to improve.”
