CELTIC skipper Scott Brown is looking forward to this afternoon’s test at Hamilton and said: “You know how they are going to shape up against you, but they might change a couple of things here and there.
“It’s on astroturf, so it’s a totally different game now for us. They train and play on it most weeks, so they have the upper hand there.
“But at the end of the day, it’s 11 versus 11 and we hope we’ll get the ball down and play better than we did last term, because we’ve struggled there in the last couple of seasons.”
Brendan Rodgers has included fit-again James Forrest in his squad, but Croatian centre-half Jozo Simunovic is likely to be rested.
Accies will be without midfielder Greg Docherty for around eight weeks after he broke a metatarsal bone in his foot against Rangers.
Grant Gillespie is suspended, with Gramoz Kurtaj, Lennard Sowah, Remi Matthews, Jesus Garcia Tena and Craig Watson all injured.
Boss Martin Canning said: “Every game is different. It doesn’t matter whether we lost 5-0 or 1-0 in the last game, it’s a different 90 minutes.
“If you approach it thinking: ‘We did well the last time so that takes care of the next game’, then you are on to a hiding.
“You need to forget everything that happened in the past. Yeah, you can learn from it, but when you approach the game you need to make sure you are 100% at it physically and mentally.
“Then we will have a chance of taking something from the game.”
