NEIL LENNON is ready to make a loan move for Celtic midfielder Kris Commons – as Scotzine exclusively revealed last month.
The Hibs boss is looking at the possibility of being re-uinited with his former player in an emergency temporary deal.
The 33-year-old former Scotland international has not played this season following the arrival of Brendan Rodgers as Ronny Deila’s successor at Parkhead.
But Commons was a key player for Lennon during the his time in charge of the champions.
Injury-hit Hibs are keen to seal a deal in time for tomorrow’s match against Morton at Cappielow.
In recent weeks, the Easter Road outfit have lost their lead over Dundee United in the Championship, although the Edinburgh side remain in front on goal difference.
The two pre-season favourites for the title are eight points ahead of Falkirk, with Morton another three behind.
Commons joined Celtic in a £300,000 deal from Derby in January 2011 and his current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
