HAMILTON DUO IN RACE TO FACE RANGERS

0

HAMILTON ACCIES defenders Michael Devlin and Danny Seaborne are racing to be fit in time for tonight’s Premiership meeting with Rangers.

Goalkeeper Remi Matthews and outfield trio Gramoz Kurtaj, Jesus Garcia Tena and Craig Watson remain sidelined.

Ibrox defender Clint Hill is available again after serving a one-match suspension following his red card against Aberdeen.

Niko Kranjcar, Jordan Rossiter and Josh Windass are still missing for Mark Warburton’s side, who can move seven points clear of third-placed Aberdeen with an away win.

Accies are on a seven-match winless run, but boss Martin Canning has taken heart from this week’s narrow defeat at Celtic.

He said: “We learned on Tuesday that the boys are capable of raising their game and concentrating for 90 minutes at a difficult venue. Tonight will be similar.

“It is a huge club coming here and we have to make sure we are competing and concentrating from the first minute and, hopefully, we can take something from the game.”

Rangers were under pressure after their 2-0 defeat from Hearts, but successive home victories over the Edinburgh men and Aberdeen have restored a measure of optimism at Ibrox.

Warburton said: “Questions were asked after we lost at Tynecastle last month and quite rightly because we had a poor day at the office.

“But they responded really well with two big performances at home in front of sell-out crowds.

“Now, though, we have to replicate that level of performance at Hamilton.”
