EX-ST MIRREN BOSS BACK IN THE GAME

0

FORMER Rangers and Hibs star Ian Murray has agreed to become assistant boss at Norwegian side Asker FC.

The ex-defender, who got off to an impressive start to his managerial career at Dumbarton, was sacked as St Mirren manager last year and has been out of work since.

Murray’s former Easter Road team-mate Kevin Nicol is boss at the Oslo-based outfit and he sees the ex-Paisley gaffer as perfect for a role as No.2 while helping to develop their youth team.

Murray will pen a one-year deal and begin work on January 1 as the club prepare for the start of the domestic season in April.
