CARL TREMARCO has agreed a new deal which will keep him at Inverness Caley Thistle until 2019.
The 31-year-old English defender, who would have become a free agent in the summer, has been in impressive form for Richie Foran outfit and has scored five goals from his left-back position this season.
Tremarco could be joined in the starting line-up for Saturday’s trip to St Johnstone by defender Brad McKay, who is nearing a comeback following his recent ankle injury.
With right-back Lewis Horner suspended for the Perth encounter following his red card against Dundee at Dens Park, McKay could be in line for a quick return.
Foran said: “Brad was looking in a bad way when he came off against Aberdeen. He was in a lot of pain and there’s a lot of swelling around his ankle.
“When we see a player going off on a stretcher you expect the worst. We’ve got a bit lucky – he’s a strong, tough boy and he’s been great for us.
“He’s aggressive and gets forward, so, hopefully, we can have him back for Saturday.”
