Ross County sign former Scotland international Chris Burke Player moves to Dingwall until end of the season

Ross County has announced the signing of former Rangers and Scotland international Chris Burke until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old was training with Kilmarnock after his departure from Nottingham Forest at the end of last season but has now moved north to sign for the Dingwall side.

Speaking to the official club website, Staggies boss Jim McIntyre said: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Chris. He will provide much-needed competition on the flanks for us. He also brings a wealth of experience playing at the top level.”

Burke left Rangers in January 2009 on a free transfer to Cardiff City, before moving to Birmingham City in 2011. He moved to the City ground in 2014 and after a loan spell with Rotherham, his contract expired.

His last game was Rotherham’s 2-0 defeat to Burnley in February 2016.
