Celtic to face Barcelona and Man City in Champions League Scottish champions drawn in Group C


Celtic have drawn Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach in the group stages of the Champions League.

The draw which took place in Monaco on Thursday late afternoon, saw the Scottish champions paired with Barcelona once again – having faced them three season ago under previous manager Neil Lennon and the season before that when Celtic famously beat the Catalan giants 2-1 at Celtic Park – thanks to goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt.

Celtic qualified for the group stages of Europe’s top club competition after they beat Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva 5-4 on aggregate.
