Ziggy Gordon signs one year deal with Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle have announced the signing of former Accies defender Ziggy Gordon on a one-year deal, just days before the Maryhill club kick off their season against Airdrieonians in the Betfred League Cup.

The 23-year-old, who has spent his entire career to date with Hamilton Accies, left the Lanarkshire side at the end of last season.

Manager Alan Archibald was delighted with the signing of Gordon, he said: “It’s great to bring Ziggy to the club. He has a wealth of experience at Premiership level and I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the squad for the season ahead.”

Gordon made his debut for Accies in February 2011 against St.Johnstone and went on to make 161 appearances scoring five goals.
