Another gaffe from Celtic’s Efe Ambrose as he scores an own goal Celtic fans react to the Nigerian's latest balls-up

Despite skinning Luis Suarez and forcing – the greatest player in the world – Lionel Messi off the park with his huge defensive presence at back for Celtic during their friendly against Barcelona in Dublin on Saturday, the Nigerian defender once more showcased the reason why all Celtic fans squirm when they see his name on the teamsheet.

Just after the half hour mark, a cross from Juan Camara came in from the left wing and despite being under no pressure and with no Barca player attacking the ball – Ambrose stretched out and turned the ball past a flapping Efe Ambrose.

The own goal is the latest in a long line of gaffes by the Nigerian and once again the Celtic fans were not impressed – with some in the Aviva stadium booing him in the aftermath.
