Queen of the South have completed the signing of Rangers midfielder Andy Murdoch on loan until the end of the season.
Murdoch, who is a product of Murray Park since signing for the Under-14 side, made his debut for the Rangers first team in 2013 coming on as a substitute against East Fife in the Ibrox side’s 5-0 victory.
He spent the first half of this season on loan at Cowdenbeath playing 15 times and scoring twice – including on his debut in the 3-2 defeat to Airdrieonians.
Since breaking into the Rangers first team, Murdoch has played 24 times for the Light Blues scoring once – with 21 of those appearances coming last season as he helped Rangers to the Championship playoffs only to fall at the last hurdle against Motherwell 6-1 on aggregate.
