Nathan Oduwa loan spell at Rangers ends early

Nathan Oduwa’s loan spell at Ibrox has come to an end early after he returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur.

The 19-year-old midfielder confirmed his departure from the Championship club via social media.

He said: “My time at Rangers has come to an end, but I’ll like to thank everyone associated with Rangers for making me feel at home both on & off the field.

“I wanna wish the players good luck for the rest of the season & hope they get Rangers back to the Scottish Premiership.”

Oduwa made 19 appearances for Mark Warburton’s side scoring once, with his last appearance back on December 19th when Rangers lost 2-1 to Falkirk.

A brief statement on the Rangers website published a day after Oduwa posted his farewells on twitter, read: “Nathan Oduwa’s loan spell at the Club has now ended and he has returned to Tottenham Hotspur.”
