Falkirk duo Peter Houston and Danny Rogers have scooped December’s Scottish Championship manager and player of the month awards respectively.
Houston’s side were unbeaten throughout the month of December as they beat Rangers, Dumbaton and Livingston as well as drawing with Hibernian.
That form has seen the Bairns leapfrog Hibernian into second place, just three points behind league leaders Rangers and only goal difference separating them from Hibernian.
Goalkeeper, Danny Rogers, who is on loan from Aberdeen kept two clean sheets in the month of December and conceded just the two goals in four games.
The Bairns have silently went about their business with little drama as they have crept up on Rangers and Hibernian at the top of the table, proving their credentials to be considered as a title rival. And with games against both Hibernian and Rangers this month, January is a huge month for Houston’s side.
