Dumbarton snap up free agent Christian Nade

Less than a day after being released by Premiership side Hamilton Accies, striker Christian Nade has been snapped up by Dumbarton.

The Championship side has agreed terms with the 31-year-old Frenchman becoming manager Stevie Aitken’s latest signing of the January transfer window.

Speaking to the official Dumbarton website, after signing Nade, Aitken said: “I’ve been trailing Christian for five or six weeks now and I’m absolutely delighted that I’ve got him to sign for us.

“He’ll be an important piece of the squad’s jigsaw as we look to head up the league table in the run-in ahead of us.”
