Christian Nade released by Hamilton Accies

French striker Christian Nade has been released by Premiership side Hamilton Accies after just six months at the club.

The 31-year-old joined the New Douglas Park side in July 2015 after spells with Sheffield United, Hearts, Dundee and Raith Rovers.

But after playing 18 times this season for the Lanarkshire side, scoring three times, he has been released.

In a statement published via the official Hamilton Accies website, the club announced Nade’s departure, it read: “French striker Christian Nade was released this afternoon, after making 18 appearances for Accies since arriving last summer. With the window closing on Monday, this allows him to sign elsewhere, and he goes with our thanks and best wishes. He netted three times for us this season.”
